On this beach, I thee wed

This past weekend we had the privilege of witnessing the wedding of Charles’ sister, Angela and our new brother-in-law,

Chris Turton.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

We had a rough start to the week with the stomach bug attacking our family one of us at a time.  With our flight being Thursday and the last vomit episode Wednesday night at 11:00 p.m. …. we were a bit nervous to travel.   There was no throw up on the plane but Will screamed the entire time.. {it was horrid}.

We got there at the most wonderful resort - The Caribe in Orange Beach, AL.  Awesome pools and very kid-friendly!  We were all ready for some relax time and some fun in the sun, however, Will was not in a vacay kind of mood.. whined and fussed and cried the entire time. literally. Thankfully my sister, Kari came in town to help out while we attended the rehearsal dinner and the wedding and especially while daddy golfed all day both days.. she was such a HUGE help and I would have been in big trouble if she wouldn’t have been there.  I have come to the conclusion it is totally pointless to take a kid on vacation under the age of 3.  He tried his best to ruin any fun we could have had while at the resort and while I had many moments of near tears out of frustration with him, I tried my best to have fun anyway.

Chris and Angela got married on the beach – it was gorgeous!  the thunder and lightening were all around – but the weather was calm and cool in the spot of their ceremony… we knew God was holding it off for them.. We are so excited to welcome Chris into the family – my kids adore him and we are looking forward to them HAVING SOME KIDS!!! WE WANT NEICES AND NEPHEWS!!!!!! PLEASESESEEE!!!
