Yummy Yard

Pears are everywhere! - literally, in our yard. We discovered a mystery tree when we moved in here - it had these tiny berry looking things growing on it and Audrey would collect them for fun before and after she'd swing beneath the branches {notice the precious swing in the above picture(bottom left side)} we weren't sure exactly what type of tree it was until lately it became pretty obvious.. those little green berry looking things just keep growing! Oh, and the squirrels have a good time on this tree too! Naturally some of the fruit falls to the ground, and when it does, ants and wasps just take over the area.. yuck! I'm not sure when these will be ripe enough to eat - but we're looking forward to it!

Some of the pears are turning a redish - orangish color on one side.. not this one though.. bright green!

just so you get an idea about how many we're talking about...
Below is an upclose picture of a GIGANTIC rosemary bush between our yard and our neighbor's yard.. this thing is huge - I haven't used any for cooking yet.. but I have cut some and brought it in the house inside of a vase and it smelled so good!

I got Audrey to stand by it so you could see the scale of it..
