First Day of First Grade

I CANNOT believe my baby girl is this old… wow – where has the time gone?!!

To celebrate her starting school, Charles and I took her to lunch and left brother behind.  We enjoyed the special one on one time so much with her.  After our lunch date at Café Arabia, we all headed to her school for an Open House so she could meet her teacher and find out who was also in her class.  She loved seeing her friends again and we are so blessed to have her with such a sweet and kind teacher!!  here are some pics of the day:

When I learned that her actual first day (which was today) was already a PE day (they wear their PE uniforms all day) we opted to take our annual 1st day of school picture after the Open House instead of the next morning.
