I’m thinking this week couldn’t be any better. I got word that Audrey was accepted into school (American International School) and will start next week! I have plans to buy her uniform and pay her tuition tomorrow. I am so happy for her, but teensy bit sad for me. All you mamas know what I’m talking about. It feels as if you are handing them over to school forever, and then they leave you. Audrey is such a sweet girl and I truly enjoy hanging out with her {especially when Will is napping}. She has been my stay at home sweetheart for many moves… tear. ok, I have to switch subjects – getting emotional.
the second great thing that happened this week is that I got to hang out with a new friend. This is no big deal to most of you, I know.. whoopty doo. but really, it has been just me and the kids (and espy of course) all. day. every. day. We put the kids in the play area at the mall with the nannies, grabbed latte’s from Starbucks, strolled the mall, had enjoyable conversation and each fell in love with the same Louis Vuitton purse. Good times. {noooo, we didn’t buy them..(yet)!) we joked that these should be our “thanks for moving the freaking desert” gifts.
and lastly and most highest on my good news list of all time.. drum roll please…
OUR SHIPMENT IS SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED TOMORROWWWWW~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
I have never been so happy to move in all my life. I cannot wait to be knee deep in boxes, packaging paper and the glorious mess of my own stuff!!!!!!!!!

Yea!!! So excited for you! For new friends, Audrey's school, and your shipment. That will be like Christmas.
great news about the school (and everything else too!) The one thing that I'm super concerned about for our move to AD (and whether to move) is getting my oldest (1st grader) into either ACS or AIS. I've heard the waitlists are crazy. Also, I want my 3 year old to go to a good preschool too (preferable the same school as her sister). Your news encourages me!
Some days are the cross and some are the Resurrection... enjoy!
