March Madness :)

 

Will’s first birthday was sweet and simple.  We went to Lake Charles late Friday night and had plans Saturday night then Will’s bday party was Sunday at lunch.  My dad made the most amazing fajitas while my mom kept Audrey busy and out of the way… We had a fun, family filled party.  Can you believe I didn’t even make cookies for my own son’s party??!! Ashamed, I know.  With the etsy store picking up and the timing of the party.. I would have had to do them on Thursday here in S.Land for the party on Sunday… not so fresh. oh well.

Yep, it is the only picture of us that turned out. sweet boy was pooped after his party!

    My aunt, Jeanne sent Will a generous gift card, and since we have not much to do outside.. (in waiting for a swing set) – I used the gift card to pick up a sand/water table. OH what a mess it is – but they love it.

I’m learning more and more that I simply cannot do it all and something is always gonna give.  Lately it is cooking.  Dinners are getting simpler and simpler to accommodate my two early eaters and my hubby who gets home super late and my extremely busy schedule lately… I’m cool with it.
