labor day weekend

Labor Day weekend Charles and I and the kids went to Lake Charles for some fun with our families... there was nothing major on the calendar - just some relaxing time. Saturday morning, I left the kids behind with Charles' parents and headed out to Choza del Rio - My parents' camp. (*Charles golfed with his dad and then met up with us later). . It is such a different experience without the little ones around, much more relaxing for mama! We enjoyed a long boat ride and then started to wakeboard.. My mom even had a turn! - sorry there are no pics to prove it. Later that night my brother, his girlfriend, my sister and Charles/I went out to dinner and got to spend some quality time together telling old stories and reminiscing... We had such a great time!

I love wake boarding.. before this summer I had not gone since Charles and I were dating.. so fun!
