Mr. Hicks

Today is the begginning of my 34th week of pregnancy.. wow! most people tell me that my pregancy has gone by fast for them - and honestly, it has gone by fast for me too. With only 48 days to go it seems like the due date is quickly approaching! I am still feeling great so far (I've been super blessed with easy pregnancies!). I've started going to the doctor every two weeks and will soon start to go every week. The only thing I can say that is super different from my pregnancy with Audrey is these dern Braxton Hicks contractions. I had them with her, just not this frequent. I get one every time I roll over in bed, get up in the morning, walk too quickly, or even just sitting in a chair {last night I counted 7 in an hour and fifteen minutes}. They don't hurt or anything, just uncomfortable and tight. Did any of you gals have these extremely high amounts of contractions?? My little William is super active and the internet says he should be about 5 pounds by the end of this week. I have begun nesting a little here and there and have had a lot of fun getting things ready for his arrival. I can't wait to meet him and yet it still seems very surreal and hasn't completely hit me that we'll have two kiddos very soon.

p.s... STILL no computer - I have sympathy for the poor people working on it - they have to be so frustrated and really ready to get it out of their shop.. they said that they have never seen one so messed up before. geez!

I had a whole lot more with Bella. Maybe it is something to do with your second one. My doctor told me to drink lots of water and dehydration could be the reason.....but that also was in the middle of summer:) The few days before Bella was born I started to get them every few minutes. Didn't hurt....just annoying. My advice put your feet up with a glass of water and relax:)

Christa! I'm worried about you! Gosh, I am so sorry you're having trouble and I hope you are more comfortable soon. I never had Braxton Hicks...I wish I knew more info to offer. The good news is that he is healthy and on his way soon! We miss seeing you and hope that you are feeling 100% very soon!

Oh girl, I feel your pain! I had Braxton Hicks so often at the end of my pregnacy with Parker...not with McKenna. The night I went in with Parker to be induced, I was having regular contractions that were registering on the monitor, but they had been what I thought were those darn braxton hicks contractions for weeks before his arrival! They are so uncomfortable! I feel for you!
Just get some rest! :)
I'm excited for you that you only have 43 days left to go!
