I just got a phone call from my mom saying that all the prayers had been answered and Jesse Lane did wonderful during the surgery - they were able to do everything they had hoped... truly a miracle! The doctors said Jesse Lane will live a long healthy life. Praise God! Thanks so much for all your prayers... The Lord heard every one.
Email from Laura (Jesse Lane's mom):
Hey everybody,It's 10:29 EST and I am bunked up on the window bed in Jesse Lane's ICU room. He looks so good (if you can get past the tubes and all). His little hands and feet are already pinking up. We all teared up when we saw this. His heart rate is a little fast - faster than they would like it to be - but they are addressing this and don't expect it to be a problem for long. Nevertheless, pray that it slows down. This hospital is amazing. It's extremely devoted to the children here and everything and everyone reflects that. I'm so grateful. It will be a long couple of days, but his doctors expect him to fare well. Breitbart spoke with Lane and I tonight and told us that the operation Jesse Lane had today was not "by the books". It's not one of those operations where they know what to expect step by step. In Jesse Lane's case, it's a bit unpredictable, but from what they can tell so far, things look really good. Please don't stop praying. This next week will really be a tough one, especially when they allow him to start waking up. Good night. Laura

Amen! I prayed for him throughout the day yesterday and I'm so glad you posted an update. The picture is hard to see, especially of a little boy so young. Still praying for everyone involved.
