Too Dang COLD!

Fall is officially over {according to me}... It is SO COLD here already.. tonight's low is 27 degrees and the high tomorrow is only 40!! Talk about difficult to get up and go somewhere when your house is so cozy and toasty and it is bitterly cold outside! This morning I had a doctor appointment at 8:45 so Audrey and I bundled up and braved the 30 degree morning cold weather to get there and have a surprise glucose test... I wasn't aware that it was going to be today or else I wouldn't have eaten all that chocolate cake this weekend!! Oh well (it sure was good!)- I can't do anything about it now except pray it comes back negative (i'll get results by the end of the week). I'll let ya know how it all turns out! To warm up this cold day, tonight is gonna be a gumbo night.. Mmmm.
